EVOLVE REVIEW

• Genre:

The genre of Evolve is action, indie, shooter game and fantasy.  

• Target Audience:

Aimed towards male players. The age range is 18+, due to the violence involved in the game. 

• Narrative: 

Evolve has a asymmetrical structure to it. The plot/storyline of this game is a battle between the human hunters and the monsters trying to kill them. It is set in a distant future, where humans have the ability to leave the world and explore other planets and galaxies. When the humans arrive on the planet Shear, they start to industrialise it and make it similar to Earth, but when they met the resistancev of the planets (aliens) they release they have the power to destroy everything the humans built.

• Characters

Evolve is a asymmetric multiplayer, which means each team is different in the sense that one team might pay as monsters then play as humans.

• Gameplay

Evolve is an action video game with focus on both co-operative gameplay and competitive multiplayer. The game has asymmetrical structure to stand pits five players into two different teams. Four player are in control of the hunters, and the remaining player is in control of the monster.
